Begins with the sun (/of the sun) is a sketchbook made up of traditional, mixed media, and digital sketches, original prose, or notes. This sketchbook contains the planning and rough drafts for my works that deal with immigration, mental baggage, racism and xenophobia, documentation or lack thereof, dreams, the past and future, identity issues, memories, trauma, language, personal themes and symbology.
